J.E.PINE-COFFIN
Major John Edward Pine-Coffin of the Loyal North Lancashire Regiment. Son of Matilda and the late John Pine-Coffin; husband of Louisa Pine-Coffin; brother of Tristram (see below). Born in 1866. Died 22 August 1919 aged 53. Buried in Alwington Churchyard. Awarded the DSO.

Lieutenant Tristram James Pine-Coffin of the 3rd Battalion , the Devonshire Regiment. Son of Matilda and the late John Pine-Coffin; husband of Sybil Pine-Coffin; brother of John (see above). Born 4 August 1885. Died 23 September 1919 aged 34.

30864 Private Alfred Shutt of the 6th Battalion, the Dorsetshire Regiment. Son of John and Grace Shutt. Born in Bideford in 1890. Died 25 September 1918 aged 29.

288331 Sapper John H.Colwill of the Lines of Communication Coy, the Royal Engineers. Son of Richard and the late Mary  Colwill of Fairy Cross; brother of John (see below). Born in Alwington in 1899. Died 27 February 1918 aged 19.

39036 Private John Veal Cook of the 5th Battalion, the Royal Berkshire Regiment; formerly Driver T2/017647 of the Royal Army Supply Corps. Son of James and Eliza Cook; brother of Herbert Cook (see below). Born in Parkham, Devon in 1896. Died 1 October 1918 aged 25.
