Lt. Eric West Britton of "D" Coy, the 3rd Battalion, the Devonshire Regiment; attached to the Machine Gun Corps. Son of the Rev. Ernest Britton and his wife Elsie Maud Mary Britton of Aylesbeare Vicarage. Born in Aylesbeare in October 1895. Died 14 April 1918 aged 22.

2nd Lt. Marshall Breckon Featherstone of the Royal Engineers, No.2 Special Coy. Son of Arthur and Mabel Featherstone of Sydenham, London;. Born in Kent in 1894. Died 2 September 1917 aged 23. Buried in Belgium.

15475 Lance Corporal William John Loman of the 8th Battalion, the Devonshire Regiment. Son of William and Melina Loman; brother of Arthur (see below). Born in Farringdon in 1886. Died 12 July 1916 aged 30.

33624 Lance Corporal Arthur Arscott Rice of the 9th Battalion, the Devonshire Regiment.  Son of James and Autherina Rice. Born in Hemyock in 1886. Died 26 October 1917 aged 31.

10992 Private John Thomas Allen of the 8th Battalion, the Devonshire Regiment. Son of Thomas and Martha Allen. Born in Sourton, nr. Okehampton in 1888. Died 6 September 1915 aged 27.

18607 Private Arthur James Loman of the 9th Battalion, the Devonshire Regiment. Son of William and Melina Loman; brother of William (see above). Born in Farringdon in 1894. Died 6 September 1916 aged 22.
A. E. BREWER
7975 Private Albert Edward Brewer the Duke of Cornwall's Light Infantry. Son of John and Anna Brewer of Farringdon. Born in 1881. Died 28 March 1915 aged 34.
A. F. CROSTHWAITE
39643 Private Allan Forsyth Crosthwaite of the 12/13th Battalion, the Northumberland Fusiliers. Son of Robert and Mary Crosthwaite. Born in Aylesbeare in 1896. Died 4 October 1917 aged 21.
A.WILSON
Private Alfred Wilson of the Australian Imperial Force. Son of George and Emma Wilson. Born in Aylesbeare in 1886. Details of his military career are not yet known. He emigrated to Brisbane, arriving 9 May 1914 and after that, nothing can be confirmed.
