3043 Lance Corporal Hedley John James of the 1st/6th Battalion, the Devonshire Regiment. Son of Blanche James of Myrtle Grove  and the late George James. Born in Bideford in the September Quarter of 1888. Died 27 June 1918 aged 31.

SPT/448 Lance Corporal William Ernest Gordon Jenkinson of the 24th Battalion, the Royal Fusiliers. Only son of William and Mary Ellen Jenkinson of Clovelly Road, Bideford. Born in Bideford in the September Quarter of 1892. Died 13 November 1916 aged 24.

345782 Private Albert Langdon of the 16th Battalion, the Devonshire Regiment. Son of Charlotte of New Row Bideford and the late William Langdon. Born in Bideford in 1895.  Died in  hospital, 21 November 1918 aged 23,  suffering from appendicitis and influenza.

206022 Lance Corporal Albert Edward Lilly of the 2nd Battalion, the Devonshire Regiment.  Son of John and Edith Lilly of Northam; husband of Florence Coles, formerly Lilly. Born in Northam in 1890. Died 31 May 1918 aged 28.

2nd Lieutenant Charles Edgar Lincey of the 1st/4th Battalion, the King's own Regiment. Son of the Reverend Richard Lincey and his wife Charlotte. Born in Skelton, Yorkshire in 1881. Died 31 July 1916 aged 35. Late of the London City and Midland Bank in Bideford.

46337 Private 15th Battalion, the Welsh Regiment. Son of James and Emma Little of the Tradesman's Inn, Cooper Street, Bideford. Born in Launceston in the June Quarter of 1883. Died 26 September 1918 aged 35.

30333 Corporal Richard George Lock of the 1st Battalion, the Devonshire Regiment. Son of William and Selina Lock. Born in Landkey in 1890. Died 7 November 1918 aged 28. Awarded the Military medal.
T. K. LOCK
No one of this name has been found. We believe this is meant to be Lieutenant Thomas H. Lock who was the long-standing Lieutenant Quartermaster of the Royal North Devon Hussars and who died in action 19 November 1918. Lieutenant Lock was an Irishman and is burried in the cemetery at Ballymacormick.
