Lieut. Bertram Glossop of the 9th Battalion, the Devonshire Regiment. Son of the Rev. Canon George Henry Powell and his wife Frances of St Albans. Born in St. Albans in the September Quarter of 1892. Died 6 September 1916 aged 21.

2nd Lieut. Ernest E. Glossop of the 1st Battalion, the Somerset Light Infantry. Son of the Rev. Canon George Henry Powell and his wife Frances of St Albans. Born in St Albans in the June Quarter of 1896. Died 4 May 1915 aged 19.

17643 Private Ernest Kingdom (aka Kindon) of the 8th Battalion, the Devonshire Regiment. Son of George and Ann Kingdon. Born in Oxford in 1889.  Died 13 November 1915 aged 26.

G/9645 Private Fred George Lock of the 4th Agricultural Company, the Royal Sussex Regiment. Son of George and Mary Ann Lock. Born in South Molton in 1891. Died 7 November 1917 aged 25.
G.H.MANNING
30876 Private George Henry Manning of the 8th Battalion, the Devonshire Regiment. Son of Henry and Sarah Manning. Born in Bishop's Nympton in 1888. Wounded 7 October 1917 aged 29. It is believed that he was invalided out at this point and that his death occurred at home in 1918.

27260 Private Percy Tucker of the 7th Battalion, the Somerset Light Infantry; formerly 733 of West Somerset Yeomanry. Son of Henry and Diana Tucker. Born in Huntsham in 1893 but lived in Bishop's Nympton. Died 30 March 1917 aged 24.

14646 Private Edwin James Warren of the 7th Battalion, the Somerset Light Infantry. Son of Mary and Henry Warren. Born in Bishop's Nympton in the March Quarter of 1895. Died 16 September 1916 aged 21.
A.LATHAM
R/103 Able Seaman Alfred Latham of the RNVR, Drake Battalion. Brother of W. Latham of Kentisbury. Born in Combe Martin 27 February 1888 but lived in Bishop's Nympton. Died 30 March 1917 aged 29.
