2616018 Guardsman Clarence Robert Bridle of the 1st Battalion, the Grenadier Guards. Son of Charles and Elsie Bridle of Black Torrington. Born in Winchester in the September Quarter of 1919. Died between 1st and 2nd of June 1940 aged 21.

LT/X 19175A Seaman George W. Cliffe of the RNR, HMS Europa II. Husband of Pauline Cliffe. Born in Stoke-on-Trent in the March Quarter of 1918. Died 19 August 1942 in Operation Jubilee, the Dieppe Raid.
