A party of nicely-dressed ladies is patiently waiting on the "up" platform at Budleigh Salterton for a train to take them on a day out (date believed to be early 1920s) . Their photo was taken from the station's footbridge . Budleigh frequently won the competition for the best-kept station on the line which did not prevent it from being closed on March 4th 1967.
