25662 Private Edward Crook of the 1st Battalion, the Devonshire Regiment. Son of Thomas and Emma Crook; husband of Edith Crook of Charles. Born in South Molton in 1886. Died 4 October 1917 aged 31.

9446 Private Fred James Leworthy of the 2nd Battalion, the Devonshire Regiment. Son of Noah and Mary Jane Leworthy of Mockham Cottage, Charles; brother of William (see below). Born in South Molton in 1898. Died 30 November 1914 aged 19.

9462  Private William Henry Leworthy of the 2nd Battalion, the Devonshire Regiment. Son of Noah and Mary Jane Leworthy of Mockham Cottage, Charles; brother of Fred (see above). Born in South Molton in 1892. Died 30 November 1914 aged 24.

91034 Gunner James Norman of 152 Brigade, the Royal Field Artillery. Son of William and Lucy Norman of Mount Whistle, Charles. Born in Charles in 1883. Died 14 April 1918 aged 35.
S.NORMAN
118166 Private Sidney James Norman of the 181st Coy, the Machine Gun Corps. Son of William and Lucy Norman of Mount Whistle, Charles; brother of James (see above). Born in Charles in 1899. Died 18 April 1918 aged 19.
