7129 Sergt. Sidney Alfred Blake of the 2nd Battalion, the Devonshire Regiment.  Son of Alfred and Jane Blake. Born in South Newton, Wilts, in 1885. Died 30 January 1915 aged 30.
A.H. BURNER
10830 Private Alfred Henry Burner of the 8th Battalion, the Devonshire Regiment. Son of Henry and Sophia Burner of West Charleton; husband of Mabel Burner of Shanklin, IoW. Born in 1890. Died 19 December 1914 aged 24.
A.M.CREBER
K31706 Stoker 2nd Class Arthur Miles Creber of the Royal Navy, HMS Q1 Peregina ( Q ships were decoy ships). Husband of Lily Maud of 8 St Martin's Yard, Kingsbridge. Born in 1890. Died 3 December 1916 aged 27 when his ship was lost.

214072 Able Seaman HMS Theseus. Son of William and Elizabeth Kelland of Gothic House, West Charleton. Born in Ireland 27 October 1885.  Died 5 December 1918 aged 33.

21288 Private William Hubert Lamble of the 2nd Battalion, the Devonshire Regiment. Son of Albert and Emma Lamble. Born in Frogmore in the March Quarter of 1897. Died 14 April 1917 aged 20.

11794 Private William Albert Roper of the 2nd Battalion, the Coldstream Guards. Son of Albert and Caroline Roper of The Barracks, Kingsbridge. Born in Marborough in 1894. Died 18 March 1915 aged 21.
W.T.SAWYER
14162 Private William Thomas Sawyer of the 2nd Battalion, the Dorsetshire Regiment. Brother of Mrs S.J.Donnerall of West Charleton. Born in Kingsbridge but lived in Plymouth. Died 25 March 1917.
J.H.STONE
39555 Private James Henry Stone of the 2nd/4th Battalion, the Yorks and Lancs Regiment. Husband of Annie Stone. Born in Frogmore in 1871. Died 30 January 1919. Buried in the Cemetery at Salcombe.
J.V.YOUNG
2nd Lieut. James Vincent Young of the Somerset Light Infantry. Son of Vincent and Eleanor Young. Born in West Charleton in 1892. Died 1 July 1916 aged 24.
