7229 Private Walter James Alford of the Carabiniers (the 6th Dragoon Guards). Son of Janes and Louisa of Saccombe, Cheriton Fitzpaine. Born in Cheriton in 1873. Died 20 November 1914 aged 41.
FRANK ARTHUR
K41836 Stoker 2nd Class Frank Arthur of the Royal Navy, HMS Vivid. Son of William and Mary Arthur of Cheriton Fitzpaine; husband of Maria Arthur of Perry Green, Cheriton Fitzpaine. Born in Cheriton in 1892. Died 18 April 1917 aged 25.

Captain Reinfred Tatton Arundell of the 2nd Battalion, Queen Victoria's Own Rajput Light Infantry. Son of the Rev. William Arundell and his wife, Anna of Cheriton Fitzpaine, Devon. Born in 1880 in Cheriton. Died 3 February 1915 aged 41.

21811 Private Albert Ashmore of the 6th Battalion, the Somerset Light Infantry. Son of William Ashmore of Ford's Cottages. Born in Sandford in 1895 but lived in Stockley Pomeroy. Died 20 July 1916 aged 21.
JOHN CONABEER
30285 Private John Conabeer of the 4th Battalion, the Devonshire Regiment.  Son of George and Grace Conabeer of Sandford, Crediton; Husband of Sarah Jane Conabeer. Born in Sandford in 1885. Died 19 February 1917 aged 32. Buried in Cheriton Fitzpaine Churchyard.

27752 Private Richard Ernest Vesey of the 6th Battalion, the Somerset Light Infantry. Son of Humphrey and Jane Veysey of East Batsworthy Farm; husband of Maud Vesey. Born in Creacombe in 1883 but lived in Cheriton Fitzpaine. Died 28 April 1917 aged 34.
