34862 Private William John Bray of the Yorkshire Regiment. Son of William Bray of Longmeadow Cottage, Clyst St Mary. Born in 1895. Died 10 September 1916 aged 21.
W.G.CHAMBERS
2326 Private William George Chambers of the 1st/4th Battalion, the Devonshire Regiment. Son of Mrs Bessie James of Clyst Cottages, Clyst St Mary, Born in 1892.  Died 31 July 1916 aged 24.
E.CLARK
M 5435 Leading Carpenter Edwin Clark of the Royal Navy, HMS Vivid. Son of Samuel and Helen Clark of Clyst St Mary; husband of Ethel Clark of Whipton,  Died 6 December 1917 aged 28.
E.GOSLAND
28429 Sapper Edward Gosland of the 63rd Field Coy, the Royal Engineers. Son of Charles and Bessie Gosland of Clyst Cottages. Born in Exeter in 1887. Died 9 April 1916 aged 24.
W.H.HUNT
20041 Private William Henry Hunt of the 2nd Battalion, the Devonshire Regiment. Parents not yet confirmed. Born in 1875 in Sandford, Devon,  but lived in Exminster. Died 1 July 1916 aged 41. Commemorated  on the Exminster War Memorial.
R.J.MIFFLIN
275165 Private Robert James Mifflin of the 1st Garrison Battery, the Somerset light Infantry, formerly 4590 of the Devonshire Regiment.. Son of James and Ann Mifflin. Born in Clyst St Mary in 1878. Died in India 14 July 1918 aged 40.
F.J.PITTS
26451 Private Frederick James Pitts of the Royal Warwickshire Regiment. Son of George and Elizabeth Pitts. Born in Pinhoe in 1899. Died 31 October 1918 aged 19.
T.SERCOMBE
12006 Private Thomas Edward Sercombe of the 2nd battalion, the Coldstream Guards. Son of Joseph and Emily Sercombe of Monmmouth Hill, Topsham. Born in Clyst St Mary in 1895 but lived in Topsham.  Died 24 June 1915 aged 20.
