J.WARREN
16884 Private James Warren of the 2nd Battalion, the Devonshire Regiment. Son of James Warren and the late Ann Warren. Born in Crediton in 1897. Died 18 April 1917 aged 20.
B. WAY
11946 Private Bernard Walter Way of the 2nd Battalion, the Devonshire Regiment. Son of the late John Way and Emma Elizabeth  Way (née Clift). Born in Crediton in the September Quarter of 1892. Died 31 December 1916 aged 24.
H. WEBB
4111 Sergeant Harry Webb of the 1st Battalion, the Devonshire Regiment. Husband of Lucy Jane Webb (née Labbett) of 10 Park Street, Crediton. Died 13 November 1914 aged 38. Buried in Holy Cross churchyard, Crediton. Awarded the DCM.
A. WHITE
33238 Private Arthur Tom White of the 2nd Battalion, the Devonshire Regiment. Son of John and Charlotte White, of 56, High St., Crediton. Born in Crediton in the December Quarter of 1897. Died 20 March 1917 aged 19.
