Inscription on Memorial plaque

An Exeter War Memorial listing for Alfred Henry Harmon is shown above. There is an entry in that name in the GRO Index for a death occurring at Exeter in the March Quarter of 1916. The Cemetery  records show the burial of  Alfred Henry Harmon aged 32 in Section F, Grave 26 on 9 February 1916.

However, the CWGC records the death of a Richard Harmon on 7 February 1916 and makes no mention of an Alfred Henry Harmon. Furthermore, they give Richard Harmon's burial place as Exeter Higher Cemetery.
