Born in Neath in the September Quarter of 1895. Died 7 September 1917 aged 22 having been wounded at Hooge 6 July 1915. Buried in Exeter Higher Cemetery,

2438 Private Walter Phillips of the Royal Army Medical Corps. Died 9 April 1919 aged 28. Buried in Exeter Higher Cemetery 15 April 1919.

There is an error in the name recorded on the Memorial.  Cemetery records show that this soldier was Henry Elias Pratt not Henry Charles Pratt. 

14384 Driver Henry Elias Pratt of the 11th Ammunition Column, the Royal Field Artillery. Son of Edmund and Emma Ruth Pratt of 34 Codrington Street, Newton, Exeter. Born in Lower Sydenham, Bell Green, Kent in the March Quarter of 1897. Died 1 September 1919 aged 22. Buried in Exeter Higher Cemetery.

1882 Private (Oscar) Valentine Pullen of the 1st Wessex Field Ambulance, the Royal Army Medical Corps. Son of Edith and the late Robert Pullen of 116 Park Road, Polsloe Park, Heavitree, Exeter. Born in Exeter in the June Quarter of 1895. Died of disease in Oxford Hospital 24 July 1915 aged 20. Buried in Exeter Higher Cemetery.

Born in Cirencester 26 May 1886. Died 13 January 1917 aged 31. Buried in Exeter Higher Cemetery. Survived the Battle of Jutland.

Born in Exeter in the December Quarter of 1872. Died 13 October 1920 aged 47. Buried in Exeter Higher Cemetery.
