3e3563 Private Bertie John James Ball of the 2nd Battalion, the Devonshire Regiment. Son of Thomas and Mary Ann Ball of Stone. Born in Frithelstock in the December Quarter of 1888 but lived in Darlington. Died 18 November 1916 aged 28.

15266 Private John Hearn of the 8th Battalion, the Devonshire Regiment.  Son of Thomas and Caroline Hearn. Born in Frithelstock in 1883. Died 25 September 1915 aged 32.
