11062 Private Joshua Bapsey Edwards of the 8th Battalion, the Devonshire Regiment. Son of William and Eva Edwards; brother of Sidney (see below) Born in Hawkridge in 1895. Died 11 May 1917 aged 22.

3815 Private Henry Lacey of the 29th Battalion, the Australian Infantry. Son of Charles and Elizabeth Lacey. Born in Chard, Somerset in the September Quarter of 1897. Died 26 September 1917 aged 20.

Captain Francis James Leach of the 2nd Battalion, the Shropshire Light Infantry. Son of Louisa and the late John Leach of the Vineyard, Hawridge; husband of Doris Leach. Born in Martock, Somerset. Died 26 April 1915 aged 36. Buried in St John's churchyard, Served in the South African War.
