24420 Private Albert Gale of the Somerset Light Infantry; transferred to 661st Agricultural Coy. of the Labour Corps. Son of John and Elizabeth Gale. Born in Chudleigh Knighton in 1883. Died 21 November 1918 aged 35. Buried in St. Pauls Churchyard.

2404 Private George Henry Woodward Howard of the 5th Battalion, the Devonshire Regiment. Son of Henry and Jane Howard of the Level Crossing Cottage, Chudleigh Knighton; husband of Lily Howard of Newton Abbot. Born in Tiverton in the September Quarter of 1886. Died 28 September 1915 aged 29.

345007 Sergeant William Lloyd Milton of "D" Coy. the 16th Battalion, the Devonshire Regiment. Son of Lloyd and Helen of Beal Farm, Chudleigh Knighton. Born  in Chudleigh Knighton in the June Quarter of 1886. Died 10 September 1918 aged 33.

26141 Private William Parker of the 2nd Battalion, the Devonshire Regiment. Son of John and Charlotte Parker; husband of Violet Parker of Haytor View, Chudleigh Knighton. Born in Chudleigh Knighton in the March Quarter of 1881. Died 21 October 1916 aged 35.

3159 Private Alfred William Perry of the 2nd/6th Battalion the Devonshire Regiment,  Son of Walter and Susan Perry. Born in Chudleigh Knighton in 1897. Died 28 September 1916 aged 19 as a Turkish PoW.

SS/104586 Stoker 1st Class William Francis Setters of the Royal Navy, Howe Battalion, the RN Division. Son of Samuel  and Mary Setter; husband of Sarah Setters of Grimsby, Lancs.  Born in Ipplepen  8 December 1888. Died 4 June 1915 in action at Galipoli aged 27.

20233 Private Samuel Feltham Sharp of the 12th Battalion, the Gloucestershire Regiment. Son of Stephen and Emily Sharp; husband of Sarah Ann Sharp. (He was the local Police Constable) Born in Chudleigh Knighton in March Quarter of 1891 but lived in Bristol. Died 9 May 1917 aged 26.

27205 Private Thomas George  Willcocks of the 15th Battalion the Hampshire Regiment. Son of William and Emma Willcocks; husband of Sophy Dodd of Heathfield. Born in Chudleigh Knighton in the March Quarter of 1879. Died 23 July  1917 of Trench Fever aged 35. Buried in St Pauls Churchyard.

J/ 4882 Leading Seaman John Henry Yeo of the Royal Navy, HMS Tiger. Son of Henry and Alice Yeo of Gappah, nr. Chudleigh, Born in Christow 16 February 1893. Died at the Battle of Jutland 31 May 1916 aged 23.
