241401 Private Arthur William D. Grater of the 5th Battalion (Territorials), the Devonshire Regiment. Son of John and Mary Grater; brother of Charles (see below). Born in Highampton in the December Quarter of 1897.  Died 27 September 1918 aged 21.
C.M.GRATER
203365 Private Charles Morcombe Grater of the 4th (Reserve) Battalion of the Devonshire Regiment. Born in Highampton in the December Quarter of 1894. Died 27 February 1917 aged 23. Buried in the United Methodist Chapelyard, Highampton.
F.Y.REED
11516 Private Frederick Youlden Reed of the 2nd Battalion, the Devonshire Regiment.  Son of Charity and the late John Reed of Town Farm, Highampton. Born in Highampton in the June Quarter of 1888. Died 30 October 1916 aged 27.
T.WERREN
30372 Trooper Thomas Werren of the Royal Norfth Devon Hussars. Son of Mary Ann and the late Daniel Wderren of Higher Coombe, Highampton . Born in Stratton, Cornwall in 1885. Died 2 May 1917 aged 32.
