H.L.ACLAND-TROYTE
Lt-Col Hugh Leonard Acland-Troyte of the 4th Battalion, the Devonshire Regiment; attached to XI Corps HQ. Husband of Helen Acland -Troyte of Little Court, Berrow, Somerset.  Born in Huntsham Court in the March Quarter of 1870. Died 17 April 1918 aged 48.
F.R.HUDSON
Captain Francis Reginald Hudson of the Royal Flying Corps. Son of Arthur and Mary Hudson; brother of Godfrey (see below). Born in London 16 August 1890. Died in a flying accident 21 March 1918 aged 27.
G.B.HUDSON
Lt. Godfrey Burnside of the 1st Battalion, the Gloucestershire Regiment. Son of Arthur and late Mary Hudson, formerly Rector of Hunstham; brother of Francis (see above). Born in  Tiverton in 1898. Died 18 April 1918 aged 19.
W.E.BATSTONE
200105 Corporal Walter Edmund Batstone of the 1st/4th Battalion the Devonshire Regiment. Son of John and Elizabeth Batstone. Born in Muchelney, Somerset in 1887. Died 24 April 1917 aged 30.
W.BURTON
51661Private 2nd Class William Burton of the 11th Squadron the Royal Flying Corps. Son of Robert and Mary Ann Burton; husband of Louisa Burton. Born in Clayhanger, Devon in 1882. Died 27 October 1918 aged 36.
H.CLARKE
2312 Private Henry Melvern Clarke of the 2nd/4th Battalion, the Devonshire Regiment. Son of the late William and Bessie Clarke of Highfield, Sheffield. Born in Sheffield in 1896. Died 26 October 1917 aged 30.
J.LAND
7799 Sergeant Joseph Land of the 9th Battalion, the Devonshire Regiment. Son of George and Mary Ann Land of Huntsham; husband of Ellen Land. Born in Bampton in 1887. Died 26 October 1917 aged 30.
A.SPRAGUE
Not yet confirmed but traced to a Bampton list of those who fought in the Great War. No connection can be found for this name with the Machine Gun Regiment as suggested on the Huntsham Memorial but we have traced an Alfred Sprague of the Gloucestershire Regiment who was wounded and discharged in August 1917. No further trace of this man has been found.
F.THOMAS
7897 Private Frederick William Thomas of the 16th Battalion, the Devonshire Regiment. Son of widower Thomas Thomas. Born in Bradninch Devon in the December Quarter of 1891. Died 3 December 1917 aged 26.
