H.SPRATT	550174 Private Henry Spratt of the Royal Canadian Dragoons. Son of Elizabeth and the late Henry Spratt of Kentisbeare . Born in Stret, Devon in 1890. Died 9 October 1918 aged 28.
A.C.TURNER	8172 Lance Corporal Arthur Cecil Turner of the 1st Battalion, the Devonshire Regiment. Son of Agnes and the late William Turner of Kentisbeare. Born in Kentisbeare in 1887. Died 17 October 1914 aged 27.
G.NEWBURY (aka G. Newberry)	133337 Able Seaman George Newberry (RFR PO 2443) HMS Victory. Parents not yet identified. Born in Kilmington 27 November 1868. Died 13 March 1917 aged 49. Buried in St Mary's churchyard.
S.POTTER	PLY 10904 Private Samuel Potter of the Royal Marine Light Infantry.Son of James and Mary Potter; brother of Walter (see below). Born in Kentisbeare in 1882. Died 5 March 1919 aged 37. Buried in St Mary's churchyard.
W. POTTER	527764 Privte Walter Potter of the Canadian Army Medical Corps. Son of James and Mary Potter; brother of Samuel (see above). Born in Kentisbeare in 1893. Died 25 October 1918 aged 25. Buried in St Mary's churchyard.
J. RICHARDS	203647 Private John Richards of the Devonshire Regiment. Son of charles and Anna Richards of Kentisbeare. Born in Kentisbeare in 1899. Died 8 March 1917 aged 18. Buried in St Mary's churchyard.
W.ROWE	8/9773 Private William George Rowe of the 37th Battalion, the Training Reserve. Son of Ann and the late George Rowe. Born in Bridgwater, Somerset in 1899. Died 3 July 1917 aged 18. Buried in St Mary's churchyard.

1939 - 1945
A. BIRD	PLY/22675 Private Arthur Bird of the Royal Marines, HMS Trinidad. Son of Daniel and Elizabeth Bird of Kentisbeare. Born in Tiverton in the September Quarter of 1906. Died 14 May 1942 aged 36.
A. J. M. PAINTER	Captain Archibald John Michael Painter of the 5th Battalion, the Devonshire Regiment; seconded to the Gold Coast Regiment (of the Royal West African Field Force). Son of Archibald and Blanche Painter. Born in St Thomas, Exeter in the December Quarter of 1915. Died 29 February 1944 aged 28.
G. E. WHITE	5628751 Private George Edward White of the 1st Battalion, the Devonshire Regiment. Son of Richard and Edith White. Born in Honiton in the March Quarter of 1912. Died 11 April 1944 aged 32.
