THE 1569 MUSTER ROLL FOR MEMBURY

 

The Protestation Return for Membury is lost so we have included these men's names from the 1569 Muster Roll. This list was made some 80 years before the Protestation which dates from the winter of 1641/42. This is not a complete list of all men in Membury - it is a list of all who were  under 60, able-bodied and capable of fighting in the army
