During Easter 1998, the award-winning Channel 4 programme  'TIME TEAM' with presenter Tony Robinson, visited Plympton St. Maurice to explore its past. In just three days, TIME TEAM helped re-write the history of Plympton St. Maurice. The programme was first broadcast in January 1999 and is still being repeated on various digital channels.
