S.T.CLARKE	CH/X 106569 Marine Sydney Thomas Clark of the 1st Royal Marine Armed Support Regiment. Son of William and Annie Clarke of Uffculme. Born in Tiverton District in the September Quarter of 1922. Died 28 June 1944 aged 21.
H.R.CROSS	5621625 Private Harold Robert Cross of the 4th Battalion, the Devonshire Regiment. Son of Robert and Florence Cross of Ashill. Born in Tiverton District in 1920. Died 2 January 1940 aged 20.
W.J.GERMON	Lieut.Commander William John Germon RNVR of HMS Clio. Son of William and Edith Germon. Born in 1883. Died 5 April 1942 aged 59. Buried in Uffculme Cemetery.
B.L.MAUNDER	5618820 Corporal Bertram L. Maunder of the 1st Battlion, the Queen's Own Royal West Kent Regiment. Son of William Florence Maunder of Uffculme. Born in 1918. Died 18 September 1944 aged 26.
F.R.MORRELL	1652609 Leading Aircraftman Frederick Reginald Morrell of the RAF VR. Son of Frank and Ann Morrell. Born in the June Quarter of 1922 in the Tiverton District. Died 7 November 1944 aged 22.
W.J.ROGERS	Believed to be: PLY/X 2491 Royal Marine Boy Bugler William John Rogers serving on HMS Neptune. Son of Mr and Mrs William Henry Rogers of Stonehouse. Born in 1923. Died 19 December 1941 aged 18 when HMS Neptune ran into an uncharted minefield and blew up with the loss of 764 men, the only survivor being Able Seaman Norman Walton.
