Just four Issues in 2006 yet our annual
readership has gone up and more new Stentifords than ever before have
made contact! We'll begin as usual by saying a very big "thank
you" to all our Contributors and especially those who featured in
the 2006 Issues either as writers or as researchers of the material for
articles. They are
Dr. Brian Stentiford; Joan Schaumloffel; Geoff Ledden; Sandy
Ditzig; Rita Roberts; Huw Davies, Doris Roberts and, of course, Doreen Norton who
worked on articles in March and June. Everyone will want to join with us
in wishing Doreen a speedy recovery and sending her our very best wishes
for a happy and healthy New Year.
David Arthur Stentiford from Massachusetts in the USA is keen to
find his ancestors - please, can anyone give him a start?
Our website is now five years old and in the fast-moving world of
cyber space that is a very respectable age! We've decided to commit the
four Issues we plan for next year to the process of updating the entire
site and sharing with everyone the additional information which we have
accumulated from our readers over those five years.
And speaking of our readers,
thank you once again for your continued support because without you, it
would all be a bit pointless. We wish everyone a very happy
Christmas (or Happy Holidays - whichever) and look forward to you
joining us again in March 2007.
