| This lovely little bridge is thought to date from the 16th century but may be even older. The land surrounding Clyst St Mary was, and still is, a boggy marsh, constantly subject to tidal and river flooding. The road over the bridge, which leads directly to the village is now closed to modern traffic but worry not, there is a pub on either end of the bridge! |
