Commissioned Gunner John Henry Goss of the Royal Marines attached to HMS Lion. Son of Harry and Mary Ann Goss.; husband of Edith (who later emigrated to Canada). Believed to have been born in Plymouth in 1884. Died 31 May 1916 aged 32.

K1946 Petty Officer Stoker John Henry Hodge Gribble of the Royal Navy. HMS Indefatigable. Son of John Henry and Mary Sponsford Gribble (née Hodge). Birth registered in Totnes in the March Quarter of 1893 but gave date of birth as 31 December 1890 when enlisting. Died 31 May 1916 aged 23.
