Now the property of the Devon Historic Buildings Trust, this 3-sided landmark tower on top of a prominent hill, is visible for miles - just as its builder intended!

Also known as the Lawrence Tower, it is chiefly used as a wedding venue these days but Sir Robert Palk had it built in the 18th century as a "folly" to impress visitors to his Haldon estate.
