Hand-written memorial in the parish church of All Saints.

ROBERT H. M. VEREKER
2nd Lieutenant Robert Humphrey Medlicott Vereker of the 2nd Battalion, the Grenadier Guards. Son of George and Frances Vereker of Sharpitor, Salcombe. Died 25 August 1914 aged 27.
ALBERT E. BROOKING
Lance Corporal Albert Edward Brooking of the 8th Battalion, the Devonshire Regiment. believed to be the brother of Arthur Stanley Brooking (see below). Born in Malborough in the June Quarter of 1897. Died 2 April 1917 aged 20.
ARTHUR S. BROOKING
Private Arthur Stanley Brooking of the 3rd battalion, the Devonshire Regiment. Believed to be the brother of Albert Brooking (see above). Born in Malborough in the December Quarter of 1894. Died 2 April 1915 aged 20. Buried in the Church burial ground at Malborough.
PERCY T. COVE
Sapper Percy Thomas Cove of the 82nd Field Company, the Royal Engineers. Son of Robert and Emma Cove. Born in Malborough in the March Quarter of 1896. Died 5 May 1917 aged 21. 
ROBERT H. CLARK
Sapper Robert Heber Clark of the 75th Field Company, the Royal Engineers. Believed to be the son of William Clark of Malborough and his first wife (living with his grandmother in 1891); husband of Alice (née Busby). Born in Malborough in the March Quarter of 1881. Died 5 August 1917 aged 36. 
WILLIAM J. GILL
Stoker 1st Class William James Gill of the Royal Navy, HMS Vivid. Son of William and Elizabeth Gill. Born in Malborough in the March Quarter of 1880. Died 16 March 1916 aged 36. Buried in the Church burial ground at Malborough.
WALTER GILL
Corporal Walter Gill of the 2nd Battalion, the Devonshire Regiment. Son of William and Elizabeth Gill. Born in Malborough in the September Quarter of 1896. Died 18 June 1917 aged 21.
ARCHIBALD T. GILL

202677 Private Archibald Thomas Gill ("Archie") of the 1st Battalion, the Worcestershire Regiment; formerly 1955, the Duke of Cornwall's Light Infantry. Son of John Henry and Susan Jane Gill of Higher Town Malborough. Born in Malborough in the September Quarter of 1896. Died 30 September 1917 aged 21.

Private Ambrose Patey of the 8th Battalion, the Devonshire Regiment. Son of James and Elizabeth Patey. Born in South Huish in 1891. Died 9 May 1917 aged 26.
ROBERT RYDER
Stoker 2nd Class Robert Ryder of the Royal Navy, HMS Vivid. Son of Nicholas and Emeline Ryder of Lower Town, Malborough. Born in Salcombe in 1896. Died 3 November 1914 aged 18.

16532 Private Herbert Henry Wood Edwards of the 7th Battalion, the Duke of Cornwall's Light Infantry. Son of James and Emma Wood of Hay Cottage, Malborough; brother of John (below). Born in Malborough 12 November 1893. Died 11 April 1916 aged 22. No known grave.

Boy 2nd Class John Percy Wood of the Royal Navy, HMS Powerful. Son of James and Emma Wood of Hay Cottage, Malborough; brother of Herbert (above). Born in Malborough 28 July 1900. Died in the Royal Naval Hospital at Stonehouse 14 July 1918 aged 18. Buried in the Church burial ground at Malborough.
