PAUL WINTER |
Paul de Lappe Winter was born in Clapham in 1888. He was the son of Frederick and Ida Winter, both foreign nationals. His father was a foreign correspondent and consequently, the family made many moves around the world. Paul went to Rodesia and joined the British South Africa Police which. in 1916, formed a Native Regiment comprising 54 Europeans and 456 native soldiers, under the command of Major Tomlinson. No more military information is currently available nor is the connection with South Brent known. |
