JOHN WILLIAMS
3508 Quarter Master Sergeant John Williams of the 3rd Battalion, the King's Own Scottish Borderers. When he died of dysentry on 12 0ctober 1900 at Christiana aged 42 he had given 20 years service to his regiment. He is buried in the churchyard at Sidmouth.
CECIL F. BEWES
6482 Trooper Cecil Francis Bewes of 27 Company, 7th battalion the Imperial Yeomanry. Son of Frederick and Ellen Bewes. Born in Newton Abbot in 1874. Dangerously wounded at Nooitgedacht 13 December 1900.  Died 28 December 1900 at Pretoria aged 26. Awarded the Queen's South Africa Medal with clasps for Diamond Hill, Cape Colony and Orange Free State.
WILLIAM G. WINSOR
4282 Private William George Winsor of the 1st Battalion,  the Devonshire Regiment.   Killed in action during the assault on Ladysmith 6 January 1900 at Wagon Hill. At his death he had served with his Regiment for 5 years and held the medal and clasp for Tirah.
PHILIP WILSON
5907 Private Philip Wilson of the 2nd Battalion, the Devonshire Regiment. Son of John Wilson and the late Jane, of Victoria Street, Totnes. Born in Totnes in the June Quarter of 1882.  Died of disease at Standerton 7 January 1901 aged 19.
FREDERICK COLE
6095 Private Frederick Hodges Cole of the 2nd battalion, the Devonshire Regiment. Son of Mary Cole and the late Samuel. Born in Ashprington in the December Quarter of 1880. Died at Geluk 26 August 1900 aged 20.
GEORGE ELFORD
9715 Private George Elford of the 1st Battalion, the Coldstream Guards. Son of Robert and Mary Ann Elford. Born in Totnes in the December Quarter of 1875.  Died of enteric at Wynberg 15 March 1900 aged 25. Awarded the Queen's South Africa Medal with clasps for Belmont, Modder River and Dreifontein.
FREDERICK C. SCREECH
3068 Private (Frederick) Charles Screech of the Queen's Royal West Surrey Regiment. Son of Benjamin and Jane Screech. of Ashprington. Born in Ashprington in 1875. Severely wounded 5 February 1900; died of enteric 18 April 1900 at Pietermarizburg aged 25.
